Health Insurance Basics: Your 101 Guide to Health Insurance
The Different Types of Health Insurance Plans
To assist the Business Healthcare Technology students with the cost of their educational experience, the GNTC libraries on Walker, Whitfield/Murray, and Rome campuses now house the Medical Coding Book Bundle. The books will be updated every October per the professional standard.
On each campus, there will be a reference copy and a second copy that you can check out when you are ready to take your AAPC Professional Coder Exam. The exam requires students to use the books as their coding reference, rather than the Encoder or computer-assisted software. The cost of the book bundle is around $500 and this has prevented some of our students from being able to complete the AAPC certification process.
